At just 23, Scottish songwriter Rosie H Sullivan has already carved out a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists – a writer of songs that hold intimacy and universality in equal measure. Growing up on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides, her music has always been rooted in honesty, nature, and a rare ability to turn raw feeling into timeless melody.

Now an entirely self-sufficient, independent artist, Rosie has taken the time to refine her craft, stepping forward with new music that underlines her maturity and vision. Her latest EP Phases, is her boldest statement yet – a collection that showcases both her vulnerability and strength as an artist in full command of her work.

Sustainable Fashion with Gray’s School of Art Aberdeen

We are delighted to be part of the Sustainable Fashion project, created in partnership with Gray’s School of Art Aberdeen. The project produces each year garments designed by Gray’s first-year fashion students who have been inspired by the castle, its history, its landscape, and the influences of its most fashionable occupant, France Farquharson, and her Friend Elsa Schiaparelli. In 2023 we were fortunate to be part of the Fife Arms Festival of Fashion, where the students were able to meet British fashion designer Giles Deacon and talk to him about their creative process.

It’s closed for tours at this time of year but you can still access the grounds. Car park next to the gate. Short walk from car park to castle doors. Some information around the grounds including audio. Being covered in snow just makes it more magical and is the reason we go so Buster can run around and play. Car park was a little slippy but take care and you’ll be fine.

Nous ne sommes arrêtés que sur le parking (payant pour 3£) et avons fait le tour du château en extérieur (qui lui est gratuit). Nous n’avons pas fait la visite à cause du prix mais le personnel était très gentil et agréable sur place !

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was a nice surprise. We did not plan to visit it but you cannot miss it from the road. The tour is about 30mn , but you can easily spent 1h. You will find a lot of history details about Scotland, and the clan living here. I loved the room about the clan with all the weapons and rocks.
